Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream awards program is a unique education grant for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.

LiveYourDream.org is a movement fiercely dedicated to ensuring every woman and girl has the opportunity to reach her full potential, be free from violence, and live her dreams.

Far too many girls face barriers such as poverty, teen dating violence, and teen pregnancy on the pathway to achieving their dreams.

Dream It, Be It equips girls to overcome their obstacles, set goals, and head towards success.

We Are Soroptimist

Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Soroptimist was formed in 1921 in Oakland, California, at a time when women were not permitted to join service organizations. Our name, loosely translated from the Latin, means best for women. Today, we have about 160,000 members and supporters in 21 countries and territories. Soroptimist International has clubs in more than 120 countries throughout the world.
