About Us

The Soroptimist International of Santa Ana-Tustin club was chartered in 1947 in Santa Ana and combined with the Tustin club in the 1980s. Together our community has strived through service projects and collaborating with other like-minded nonprofits locally to support the mission of helping women and girls in our community and beyond to achieve economic empowerment through training and education.

We support other Soroptimist clubs as well as Soroptimist International of the Americas global disaster relief efforts to help women in distress in a multitude of environments.

Our signature Soroptimist Young Women of Achievement luncheon program has been central to supporting the young women in our community and has been a wonderful opportunity to invite the community to learn more about Soroptimist International.

The luncheon program advances the status of young women who are the future leaders in our community. Each month, we invite 13 young senior high school students to join us along with their counselors so that we can honor them at the Club’s luncheon meeting. A Young Woman of the Year is selected from the monthly honorees. The students are selected by their schools for outstanding personal attributes including community service, academic performance, school participation and overcoming life’s obstacles. We care deeply about our young women and offer them friendship and support as they continue their educations and return to the community. This program is our club’s longest running recognition program and has a positive impact on our communities.

The women in this club come from all different backgrounds and have different stories that brought them here. They have come together to help women and girls in their community and to make a difference. They are eager and open to helping and will be some of the best women you will ever meet.
